SMTP Listener

SMTP Listener is the bulitin SMTP server used to receive journaling mail traffic from mail server.

• Enable option Force secure SMTP connection to force mail server connecting to Spider with secure SMTP connection (via TLS or SSL).

  Note: A valid SSL cert on Spider server is required.

• For better security, force mail server to perform SMTP authentication while forwarding email to Spider.

• For simple access control, toggle on option Reject connection if mail server address is not listed in Allowed Mail Servers below, then input the IP address(es) of your mail servers under the Allowed Mail Servers section.
